Verse 1 Whispers in the temple halls Shadows crawling on the walls They told stories of your eyes Turning heroes into lies Footsteps echo in the dark Hunters chasing through the spark But they freeze before they move One look and they’re statues too Pre-Chorus I see the fear inside your soul Every legend losing control Chorus Don’t look into my stone eyes You’ll freeze where you stand tonight One stare and the world goes quiet Turning hearts into marble light Don’t look into my stone eyes No escape from what you’ll find Every hero falls in time When they meet my stare tonight Verse 2 Serpents whisper in my hair Every breath a silent prayer They call me curse, they call me fate But they chose to tempt the gate Armor cracks, the silence grows Every warrior finally knows Some myths live forevermore Some become the legend’s lore Bridge / Drop Lyric Hook Stone eyes… don’t look back Stone eyes… fade to black. Chorus Don’t look into my stone eyes You’ll freeze where you stand tonight One stare and the world goes quiet Turning hearts into marble light Don’t look into my stone eyes No escape from what you’ll find Every hero falls in time When they meet my stare tonight Verse 3 Moonlight on the broken shields Statues scattered through the fields Every story carved in stone Proof that I’m not here alone They came chasing glory’s flame Dreaming they could steal my name But legends fall the moment they see The truth inside of me Chorus (Repeat) Don’t look into my stone eyes You’ll freeze where you stand tonight One stare and the world goes quiet Turning hearts into marble light Don’t look into my stone eyes No escape from what you’ll find Every hero falls in time When they meet my stare tonight Final Chorus Don’t look into my stone eyes Feel the silence crystallize Every shadow turns to white When they meet my stare tonight Don’t look into my stone eyes Fate is written in my sight Every legend fades to stone The moment you’re alone tonight. Bridge / Drop Lyric Hook Stone eyes… don’t look back Stone eyes… fade to black.
