As I gaze into the deep blue sky, I wonder What you’re seeing in the great beyond As the sunset slips away from the horizon I know there’s streets of gold you’re walking on Tonight the stars are shining in all brilliance They twinkle like the look within your eyes I know Heaven’s filled with happy sounds of laughter Where never there are anymore goodbyes And when the sunbeams sing a warm good morning And when the rain clouds bring a trillion tears That’s when I think of you and I look forward to the day When every heartache of this life just disappears I sing glory to the precious Name of Jesus My eternal life, my Savior and my Lord Because of Christ one day there’ll be no parting So I keep my eyes on Jesus and press forward
