Left my house early today To go and check out the city So I headed down Hathian Highway Guess I got a thing for the dirty and gritty I thought I’d do some shopping But all the stores were being robbed So I went to Lou’s for a drink And then got hit on by some slob He tried to put his hands all over me And he said “Let’s you and me have a dance” I told him “I don’t work at Titty Twister, mister So keep it in your pants.” Then I headed on off to Rader’s ‘Cuz with me, music is a must As I went through the record racks Some were covered with some kind of pink dust I found something I wanted and went to check out Saw a sign there that said “All Sales are Final” But I think when they say final They mean more than just the vinyl Then I stopped at Chartbusters Next to music, movies are the best I had to go and ask the clerk “What the hell is VHS?” It was getting late and I had a date Had to make it home on time But I made one last stop to get some food And ordered a Gein's burger with extra slime I made it home and put on a song Called “A Day in the Life” I shook my head then to myself I said Here it’s more like “A Day in the Strife”.
