[Verse 1] On Vinga’s Ford, where the waters roar, A spirit returns, to fight once more. Alaryn the Vingan, with her sword so bright, Facing three trolls in the endless night. She stands her ground, year after year, Calling for aid, but none draw near. She fights alone, beneath the moon’s pale glow, Waiting for warriors who never show. [Chorus] Alaryn fights, her blade swings wide, Against the trolls and the turning tide. Bound to this place, her spirit in pain, Fighting in shadows, through storm and rain. But aid will come, from Greydogs bold, To break her chains, and free her soul. [Verse 2] Ragnar the fair, with Orlanth’s zeal, Leads the charge, his heart like steel. Olaus the somber, his dagger sharp, Eyes like the night, he’s cold as dark. Yorgi the healer, with words of light, Patchin' the wounds, keepin’ hope in sight. Jarang the hunter, with arrows at hand, Guards the mule, watches the land. Barlos the mighty, Daka-Fal’s kin, Swings his axe, and grins through the din. Theros the blue, painted in woad, Calling on Orlanth, the storm to unload. With them, a Durulz, from Duckpoint he came, Deveval the Humakti, death is his name. [Chorus] Alaryn fights, her blade swings wide, Against the trolls and the turning tide. Bound to this place, her spirit in pain, Fighting in shadows, through storm and rain. But aid will come, from Greydogs bold, To break her chains, and free her soul. [Verse 3] The night turns dark, the wind howls loud, As a daughter of darkness descends like a shroud. A vampire queen, with zombies in tow, The island cursed by her shadow’s glow. The Greydogs gather, a circle of might, Theros chants loud, calling Orlanth’s light. The storm roars down, the ground turns pure, Sanctified earth, the spirits endure. [Chorus] Alaryn fights, her blade swings wide, Against the trolls and the turning tide. Bound to this place, her spirit in pain, Fighting in shadows, through storm and rain. But aid has come, the Greydogs bold, Breaking the chains, freeing her soul. [Bridge] Trolls roar back, but the storm strikes hard, Alaryn’s sword gleams like a star. Barlos’s axe sings, Olaus cuts deep, Ragnar’s blade strikes, the trolls asleep. Yorgi heals wounds, while Jarang stands guard, Deveval slashes, his sword hits hard. The vampire dies, her dark plans foiled, The zombies crumble, their magic uncoiled. [Verse 4] Alaryn looks up, her ghostly eyes bright, "Orlanth has heard me, at last, this night." The Greydogs nod, as the dawn light breaks, The curse lifted, the earth now wakes. Her spirit ascends, a whisper, a sigh, Freed from the fight, she soars to the sky. The heroes stand tall, with blood and with sweat, Knowing her debt is paid, her soul reset. [Final Chorus] Alaryn’s gone, her fight is done, The ghost of the ford, now free to run. The Greydogs came, with courage and grace, And left behind, a sacred place. Her sword is still, her shadow no more, The Vingan warrior, bound nevermore. [Outro] So raise a cheer, for the heroes bold, Who fought through the night, through heat and cold. Vinga’s Ford stands, sanctified and bright, Thanks to the Greydogs, who won the fight.
