[verse] I was walking in the darkness, Holding on to who I used to be. But Your mercy called my name, Lord, And Your grace awakened me. Now the old life has been shattered, And the new life stands restored— For anyone found in Jesus Is made new forevermore. [pre-chorus] The old has passed, It’s gone for good. And the new has come, Just like You said it would. [chorus] I’m a new creation rising, All because of Christ my King. He turned my sorrow into gladness, And gave my soul a song to sing. I’m a new creation rising, By His power I’ve been set free— Now I’m walking in His promise, Living out His victory. [verse] You restored what once was broken, You renewed what fear had claimed. You replaced my shame with purpose, And You called me by Your name. Now I stand in Your salvation, With a heart made clean and whole— For the new has come in Jesus, And His life fills my soul. [pre-chorus] The old is gone, Washed away. And the new has come, In Christ today. [chorus] I’m a new creation rising, All because of Christ my King. He turned my sorrow into gladness, And gave my soul a song to sing. I’m a new creation rising, By His power I’ve been set free— Now I’m walking in His promise, Living out His victory. [bridge] New creation! Jesus made me new! Old life gone! His Word is true! Jesus makes all things new! [final-chorus] I’m a new creation rising, All because of Christ my King. He took my heart of heaviness And filled it with His joy to bring. I’m a new creation rising, By His power I’ve been set free— Now I’m living in His goodness, Standing in His victory. [tag] New creation… New creation… New creation in Christ.
