Artist: Edger Ai Bington (feat. SloMo Joe & Bethanie Crain) Style: Disco-Funk with Rock Groove Mood: Playful, eerie-funky, upbeat-haunting [Verse 1] They said, “Don’t bother, just let it rot,” A moldy ol’ mansion in a weedy plot. But I ain’t scared of creaks and moans, I see charm in broken bones. Pulled up slow, just me and fate, The vines reached out like they couldn’t wait... [Chorus] Now the floorboards groove, and the chandeliers swing, A haunted house with a disco queen. Bethanie spins, and I hold my stance— A ghost and a fool in a twilight dance. Enchanted? For sure. Possessed? Maybe so... But we boogie nightly—me and SloMo Joe. [Verse 2] Closet door wide, like it knew I’d peek, A whisper breeze, soft and meek Three steps in—BAM! door slammed tight, I hit the wall, saw stars and light. And there she stood with her glittered grace, Till her head spun 'round, showing melted face... [Musical Interlude] (Instrumental Funk Groove – add swirling synths, funky bassline, distant ghostly laughter) [Verse 3] She reached for my soul—I offered a hand, Guess even phantoms need a jammin’ man. She curtsied low, and I found my feet, Swayed like vinyl on a retro beat. Now we two-step through the afterlife, She’s my spectral pal... but not my wife. [Bridge] They said it was haunted, full of dread— But rhythm raised it from the dead. You fix a house with hammer and glue, But sometimes it just needs a dance partner too... [Chorus – Final] Now the floorboards groove, and the chandeliers swing, A haunted house with a disco queen. Bethanie spins, and I hold my stance— A ghost and a fool in a twilight dance. Enchanted? For sure. Possessed? Maybe so... But we boogie nightly—me and SloMo Joe. [Outro] Just needed some love, some light, some flow... And a ghost with style, and a guy named Joe.
