Intro] (sparse piano) (whispered) Pull it slow... Pull it slow... [Verse 1] Open the heart wide Lay down the heavy load Show me where the sorrow hides Under the stories we've told You flinch at the light At the sound of His mercy But you asked for the truth To heal what is hurting [Pre-Chorus] Your pulse in His palm Like a quiet petition You say you want peace Now make the surrender [Chorus] Open it Open it slow Let the healing waters finally flow Open it Don’t let go We are washed in the grace we know Lift it up Lift it slow All the burdens you used to know Open it Let it go You were never alone below [Verse 2] He takes your hand And guides you to the altar He’s pulling you close When your spirit starts to falter Tears on the wood Faith in the fire Every restraint Is lifting you higher [Pre-Chorus] You shake but you stay There is no retreat here The cage was a prayer Now it disappears [Chorus] Open it Open it slow Let the healing waters finally flow Open it Don’t let go We are washed in the grace we know Lift it up Lift it slow All the burdens you used to know Open it Let it go You were never alone below [Bridge] This is not judgment This is exposure The fear was a story You learned for composure If it breaks you It breaks you awake If it holds you It washes the fake [Final Chorus] Open it Open it slow Let the old echo lose control Open it Let it go We are not what we were below Open it Stand in the light Claim the mercy, give up the fight Open it Stand alone There was never just one throne [Outro] (fading to single piano notes) Pull it slow Pull it slow The fear is gone You’re finally home
