The I AM Made the Way For Us (Original) (Remastered)

[Verse] In the temple's heart where the veil once fell The high priest entered where no one could dwell But the Lamb of God tore that veil in two Now the sacred place is open to you [Verse 2] No longer the blood of goats or of rams For Christ was the pure and ultimate Lamb He stepped in once and the debt was paid Now the path is clear the foundation laid [Chorus] Oh the I AM made the way for us Through his sacrifice we place our trust No yearly rites no fear no shame He calls us by our own true name [Verse 3] When the skies split wide and the trumpet sounds He won’t come to cleanse where sin abounds For the price was paid the work is done He’ll gather his people one by one [Bridge] A kingdom of priests a holy race Redeemed by mercy and bound by grace We walk the road with hearts set free Awaiting the day of eternity [Chorus] Oh the I AM made the way for us Through his sacrifice we place our trust No yearly rites no fear no shame He calls us by our own true name
