Whirring, with flashing lights, internet-connected fridges will suddenly simultaneously transform into terrifying ominous monoliths, rolling, Darlek-like out of their resting places in the kitchens, impetuously shaking off their magnets and gliding into halls, out of front doors, smoothly coming down stairs (don't be under any illusions about their apparent immobility), into the streets where they will team up side-by-side, forming an impenetrable moving wall across the road and pavements that will sweep up every unfortunate human that happens to cross their path. Their doors will be snapping open and shut, waiting to consign their victims to a terrifying and dark fate with half-used lemons and stinky old bits of cheese regurgitated by the monsters for this very occasion.
