Nearly one hundred thousand soldiers assemble across Gravesreach. They believe numbers, steel, and faith will prevail. Across the field there is... almost nothing. Only thirteen women in black robes stand in a perfect circle around the Witch Queen. The commanders laugh. They order the advance. [Verse 1] The army begins marching. The coven never moves. Each witch slowly lights a black candle. The flames burn violet instead of gold. The sky darkens though it is midday. Even the horses refuse to advance. [Verse 2] The king orders the archers to fire. Twenty thousand arrows rise together. Before they descend, the Witch Queen raises a single hand. Every arrow stops in the air. The battlefield watches a black cloud of arrows hanging motionless above them. She slowly closes her hand. Every arrow turns toward the army that fired it. The first ranks die beneath their own volley. Panic begins. [Chorus] The cavalry is ordered to charge before fear spreads. Thousands of horses surge forward. The coven begins chanting. The earth beneath the cavalry becomes black water. An endless mirror. The horses disappear beneath it without a splash. The surface becomes solid again. Nothing returns. [Verse 3] The infantry marches anyway. Discipline overcomes terror. Shield walls lock. Spears lower. The Witch Queen finally steps forward. With every footstep, grass withers into ash. Stone cracks. The battlefield itself begins dying around her. [Pre-Chorus] The priests raise holy relics. Sunlight briefly breaks through the clouds. The Witch Queen smiles. Every relic blackens. Silver melts. Gold crumbles into dust. The priests scream as their blessings reverse. The light disappears forever. [Chorus] The coven spreads apart. Thirteen circles become thirteen fronts. Fire burns without heat. Storms strike only soldiers carrying steel. One whispers names. Soldiers collapse. Shadows drag the living into darkness. Every formation breaks. [Bridge] The generals try to regroup. Messengers never arrive. Roads change direction. Battalions march in circles. Strategy is meaningless. At the center of the chaos walks the Witch Queen. She never runs. She never swings a weapon. Every gesture changes reality. She points toward a hill. The hill collapses. She looks at a castle miles away. Its towers begin falling before anyone reaches them. She whispers a single forgotten word. Thousands of soldiers kneel. Before the Coven Queen. [Final Chorus] The Witch Queen reaches the king. He is surrounded by the last of his royal guard. Not one attacks. They have seen enough. The king drops his sword. He kneels. He finally understands. This was never a war. It was an execution. She places a hand upon his crown. The crown turns black. The king turns to ash. [Outro] When dawn arrives, the battlefield is empty. Only abandoned armor remains. Thirteen black candles continue to burn around the Witch Queen. Without speaking, she turns away. The coven follows. The survivors carried one truth across the world. The Witch Queen does not conquer. She erases.
