“Will Fade” came from thinking about how much of the world around us feels permanent when, in reality, none of it is. We build bigger, louder and higher, chasing things that seem important, while knowing somewhere inside that all of it will eventually disappear. There is something almost comforting in that idea. The song is not only about everything that will be lost, but also about what we choose to give meaning to while we are here.
