Sungsang buwana, sungsang ratri... Sirna ala, sirna memolo... Sungsang buwana, sungsang ratri... The shadow grows, the fire dies A thousand spirits under heavy skies I call the names the night forgot To untie the knots the demons wrought Step through the smoke, step through the stone Leave the flesh, and leave the bone Return to the dark, return to the deep! Wake the earth from its ancient sleep! By the blood of the soil, by the ash in the air Break the curse that binds us there Leave this realm, you faceless king Hear the song the shadows sing! We draw the circle in the dust In iron vows and silent trust The phantom entities shall bow Before the oath we whisper now You cannot stay, you cannot breathe Beneath the roots where spirits seethe Hong! Saking kersaning Hyang... Mundur sira roh kang jahat! Balik marang asalira! Flee the light! Flee the dawn! The tether is broken, the shadow is gone! The veil is closed. Rahayu...
