I'm forged, in the fires, of adversity Bring on the pain, I know I can be more The pressures of life can't hold me down I'm built and refined by the Lord Forged in the fire Marching ever towards victory Can't hold me back I'm working for the King I'll keep on fighting The war's already won Till judgement day When Christ finally comes This life's not safe, living in enemy territory The tempter comes and tries to throw me off my game Every blow the Lord works into His plan Through Him, I can make a stand Forged in the fire Marching ever towards victory Can't hold me back I'm working for the King I'll keep on fighting The war's already won Till judgement day When Christ finally comes The mission's simple, keep on shining the light Let all around see how desperate is their plight For the least of these, I'll keep on taking blows Where the Spirit leads, that's the path to go Forged in the fire Marching ever towards victory Can't hold me back I'm working for the King I'll keep on fighting The war's already won Till judgement day When Christ finally comes Ohhhhh what a joy it is (whoah whoah) Ohhhhh knowing I'm on His side (on His side) I'll keep on fighting (keep on fighting) For the cause is worth the pain Let the kingdom come, let Christ reign! Forged in the fire Marching ever towards victory Can't hold me back I'm working for the King (working for the King) I'll keep on fighting (fighting) The war's already won (ohhh) Till judgement day When Christ finally comes Forged in the fire Marching ever towards victory Can't hold me back I'm working for the King I'll keep on fighting The war's already won Till judgement day When Christ finally comes Ohhhhh what a joy it is (whoah whoah) Ohhhhh knowing I'm on His side I'll keep on fighting (keep on fighting) For the cause is worth the pain Let the kingdom come, let Christ reign! Oh let the kingdom come... Let Christ reign!
