[Instrumental Intro — 4 bars, sparkling music-box bells, bubbly piano, cute synths]

[Intro — Rainbow Dress, playful female vocals]
Twinkle, twinkle, look at me!
A rainbow dress as sweet as can be!
Giggle, giggle, ribbons blue,
I've got a little dream for two!

[Verse 1 — Rainbow Dress]
I hung in Anne's closet with my satin bow,
Dreaming of dancing beneath a golden glow.
She whispered Mira's name and stroked my seam,
I felt a thousand butterflies in my dream!

But Mother saw me and frowned at my hue,
And Father said, "Those colors won't do!"
They threatened to throw me away,
So Anne hid me beneath her bed that day.

[Pre-Chorus — Rainbow Dress]
A princess in pink, a prince in blue,
That's what her school expected her to do.
But I had ribbons in every hue,
And dreamed of dancing with Anne and Mira too!

[Chorus — Rainbow Dress, cute bubbly teen-pop]
Twinkle, twinkle, rainbow me!
I'm a little dress with a dancing dream!
Giggle, giggle, spin with me,
Oh, how happy my ribbons would be!

Twinkle, twinkle, pink and blue,
Yellow and green, I shine for you!
Giggle, giggle, round we go,
I want to dance with the girl Anne loves so!

[Instrumental Dance Break — 8 bars, playful synth melody, sparkling bells, bouncy bass, handclaps]

[Verse 2 — Rainbow Dress, tender female vocals]
I lay beneath her bed that night,
While schoolroom stars were shining bright.
When Anne came home, she held me near,
And whispered all I longed to hear.

"Mira sat across the room,
While other couples danced to the tune.
We shared shy smiles, but stayed apart,
With secret wishes in our hearts."

[Chorus — Rainbow Dress, sweet bittersweet pop]
Twinkle, twinkle, rainbow me!
I'm still a dress with a dancing dream!
Giggle, giggle, soft and low,
There's a secret only we can know.

Twinkle, twinkle, out of sight,
I wished I'd danced with them tonight.
Giggle, giggle, can't you see?
Their little dream still lives in me!

[Instrumental Interlude — 4 bars, delicate piano, lonely music-box bells, dreamy strings]

[Bridge — Rainbow Dress, tender then excited]
Then Anne pulled me from beneath her bed,
And kissed the little bow upon my head.
She slipped me on, I began to glow,
My ribbons fluttered, ready to go!

We met sweet Mira beneath the stars,
Far from the school and its watching eyes.
Anne held her close, and I swished with glee,
At last their secret dance included me!

[Instrumental Build-Up — 4 bars, shimmering synth arpeggios, rising piano, joyful drum fills]

[Final Chorus — Rainbow Dress, euphoric cute female harmonies]
Twinkle, twinkle, rainbow me!
I'm finally dancing, wild and free!
Giggle, giggle, spin with me,
I'm the happiest dress I'll ever be!

Twinkle, twinkle, pink and blue,
Anne and Mira's dream came true!
Giggle, giggle, love stayed true,
Till years later, they both said, "I do!"

[Instrumental Outro — 4 bars, gentle music-box reprise, sparkling glockenspiel, sweet piano, final twinkling chime]
