[Introduction] The practical application of his predecessor's recommendations, detailing the traps to avoid (specifically respect for symbols and the rigorous management of tributes). • [Verse 1] Avoid banners in the holy city, Do not provoke anger and fear. Their images of the emperor wound their hearts, Flexibility is better than false terror. • [Chorus] Precious instructions for a new reign, Where the slightest error is a bleeding crime. Listen to the voice of the one who precedes, So that authority never yields. • [Verse 2] Watch the roads, listen to the rumors, It is in the markets that grudges are polished. Never yield on taxes or tribute, But know how to bend to achieve your goal. • [Chorus] Precious instructions for a new reign, Where the slightest error is a bleeding crime. Listen to the voice of the one who precedes, So that authority never yields. • [Verse 3] His words are engraved like a secret code, A guide to survive this heavy secret. I fold the sheet and put it away in silence, Ready to assume this heavy existence. • [Outro] The candle burns slowly, consuming the final piece of advice.
