[Verse] Gonna grab that orange thing make it mine Knife in my hand sharp and fine Scoop the guts toss ‘em out oh yeah [Prechorus] Carving dreams in pumpkin skin A face to light the dark within [Chorus] It’s my jack o’ lantern grinning wide Eyes like secrets it can’t hide He he he it’s gonna shine tonight [Verse 2] Sticky seeds clingin’ to my hand They don’t get it but they’ll understand This is art raw and messy oh yeah [Bridge] The candle’s in I strike the match A fiery soul from this pumpkin batch Glowing bright it winks at me A spooky little masterpiece [Chorus] It’s my jack o’ lantern grinning wide Eyes like secrets it can’t hide He he he it’s gonna shine tonight
