SONG NOTES
I'm pre-releasing my #DiamondInTheRough challenge song as part of my #ThrowbackThursday as this is a song I wrote back when I was still a free user. It was originally a response to a Suno challenge for #BuddahBlessThisBeat, one of the remix challenges to win extra Suno credits and cash. Since the template was basically just beats, you could do just about anything with it. I wrote a couple of my own songs (one was a Steely Dan inspired tune).

I wasn't impressed with the tune I got the first time, plus to unlink it from the remix contest, I copied the lyrics and created a new gen, re-working the style to better fit my original intention. I genned it a few times and got two potential catchy tunes. I liked them both, so as an experiment, I mashed them together. What I got was this; a song that totally could have had airplay in the time period, as if I had luckily captured it playing without the DJ talking over the start or end thanks to a cassette recorder placed next to a radio speaker.
