Verse 1 I lift my voice to heaven, I turn my heart to seek Your way. Your words are hidden treasure, More than silver, more than gain. You whisper truth in quiet, You steady every trembling fear. And when I search with longing, Your wisdom draws me near. Pre-Chorus Open up my understanding, Teach me how to walk upright. Guard my steps with holy insight, Lead me through the night. Chorus Wisdom, be my shelter, Be the lamp that lights my feet. Keep me on the righteous pathway, Where Your faithful ones find peace. Turn my heart from every shadow, From the lies that pull me through. Wisdom, be my shelter— I will follow You. Verse 2 You shield the ones who trust You, You hold the upright in Your hand. You guide the just with justice, You show the humble where to stand. The wicked paths grow twisted, Their roads are filled with hidden snares. But You preserve the faithful, And meet them with Your care. Bridge When the world calls out with promises That fade like dust in wind, Your truth remains unshaken— The beginning and the end. So write Your words upon my heart, Make every motive true. Keep me walking in Your goodness, Till my life looks like You. Final Chorus (Lifted) Wisdom, be my shelter, Be the fire that makes me whole. Keep me on the righteous pathway, Guard my spirit, guard my soul. Turn my heart from every shadow, Make me faithful, make me true. Wisdom, be my shelter— I will follow You.
