I was standing by the music, In a dress of midnight blue. Trying not to notice, every eye was watching you. You walked in like a sunrise, with a smile that stole the room. And my heart forgot its rhythm, when you turned and said hello. Ooh, you were smooth as Sunday morning. Hotter than a July night. Every step was saying something. And every little something felt right. I was out of this world when I met you. Boy, you had me flying so high. One look at you, so fine, so true. You put the stars back in my sky. Out of this world when I met you. Heaven must have sent me a sign. I lost my heart on the dance floor, baby. When your eyes first looked into mine. You had style in your shoulders. You had magic in your hands. Every girl was turning circles, but you asked me to dance. I said, “Baby, don’t you tease me. If you’re only passing through”. You said, “Darlin’, I came to this party, just to find a girl like you”. Ooh, you were cool as satin shadows. Sweet enough to steal my name. Every move was pulling closer, till my heart was all aflame. I was out of this world when I met you. Boy, you had me flying so high. One look at you, so fine, so true. You put the stars back in my sky. Out of this world when I met you. Heaven must have sent me a sign. I lost my heart on the dance floor, baby, when your eyes first looked into mine. Don’t need the moon above me. Don’t need a diamond ring. Just give me that sweet little smile, boy. And I’ll give you everything. You got me spinning, got me shining, got me burning like a flame. If this is love, then call me crazy, I’ll never touch the ground again. I was out of this world when I met you. Boy, you had me flying so high. One look at you, so fine, so true. You put the stars back in my sky. Out of this world when I met you. Heaven must have sent me a sign. I lost my heart on the dance floor, baby, when your eyes first looked into mine. Out of this world. You’re so fine. Out of this world. Baby, you’re mine. Out of this world. I’m flying high. You put the stars back in my sky.
