V6

[Intro] When you go out into the forest, tread carefully, on tiptoe. The moment you step beneath the trees and the first blackbird flutters up before you: you must know then that the forest has noticed you. If you stop for a moment, you will hear the breeze as it glides away between the trees. You already know that this breeze was shaken forth by an angel from the folds of their cloak. If you listen closely, you can hear the elves too: rustling, pottering here and there in the thicket. They have much to do; they must hurry. You will see the flowers too, and from the chalice of every blossom, a little fairy peer at you. They are watching to see if you are a destructive human... Those are the ones they fear! But you will be a seeing human, and the fairies will quickly realize this. They will sit out on the petals of the flowers and laugh at you sweetly. And then you will hear the brook as well, telling you stories, wondrous tales of the forest. You just walk on quietly, admiring, aimlessly, and suddenly you step out onto the Glade of Angels. You don't even know that this is it, since human eyes cannot see the angels. All you see, all you feel, is that it is wonderfully beautiful. And you stop. And in that moment, your heart opens, and the angels step silently beside you, one by one, on tiptoe, and they place their treasures inside your heart. The greatest treasures that God has created for mankind: Goodness, love, and peace. [Trumpet Solo] [Piano Solo] You know nothing of all this at the time. You only hear the birds singing so beautifully around you, and the brook telling its story so sweetly. You only see that the forest is so beautiful. The trees, the flowers, the grass, the moss, the high blue sky and upon it that great, shimmering white cloud where the Good Lord sits, puffing sheep-clouds from His big blue pipe, and smiling with loving-kindness. Only when you return among the people once more, among the destructive people, and the greedy people, and though they are cruel to you, you still return their cruelty with goodness, you carry love for everyone, and even in the heaviest moments of life, serenity and peace rest upon your brow: only then will they see in you that you have walked upon the Glade of Angels, my dear. [Outro] [Instrumental Fade Out]
