Based on a project of mine called the Cores-verse This song is based on the deuteragonist of the Stellian Empire's POV (the overarching story has dozens of POVs), Chase. When the Kingdom of Drasil was overthrown and turned into the Stellian Empire under Empress Stellia Avsai, the former rebel leader, she set Chase and his fellow slaves free. All left to live their own lives... all but Chase. Chase stayed to serve Stellia. In addition to assassinating and arresting criminals, Chase keeps her in check while pushing her to be the decisive leader people need.
