Darkness & Confusion

What do you do when the darkness remembers your name… I stand alone as the fog crawls in, thick enough to steal the shape of the world. The light that once led me disappears and a low hum trembles across the mountainside. A voice rises from the inside fog, low it whispers, “Stay with me… Because you’ve been mine long before you followed the light. It wraps around me like a shadow remembering my shape. The fog steals the path beneath my feet, and the orb hums louder than my fear. Shadows twist the truth I thought I knew, as darkness and confusion pull me near. The fog parts just enough to show the shape, that trembling orb hanging over broken stone. Its hum crawls under my skin like a warning, yet something in this darkness pulls me on. A trembling whisper cuts through the fog: It whispers…. “the truth isn’t where you think it is.” The hum fractures around me, pulling my thoughts in every direction. The fog steals the path beneath my feet, and the orb hums louder than my fear. Shadows twist the truth I thought I knew, as darkness and confusion pull me near. The fog thickens swallowing every sound until only the hum sustains. The orb pulses violently As the mountainside shivers in the dark that remains The fog loosens its grip, drifting in pale arrays and the hum turns into an echo. For a brief heartbeat, the path flickers into view a fragile being waiting in half‑light. The fog steals the path beneath my feet, and the orb hums louder than my fear. Shadows twist the truth I thought I knew, as darkness and confusion pull me near. The fog folds around me like a final daring breath, and the glow falls upon my skin. I take one step into the half‑light, leaving the shape of the world behind, and I walk toward the truth The truth I cannot yet see.
