TITLE: The Carven Silence, Song 2 of 12 ALBUM: THE X COMMANDMENTS - AN ALTERNATIVE MUSIC CRUSADE BY: Praxis & Blackdraft - Human Moments, Digital Hands LANE: Songs of Scripture DURATION: 4:14 BPM: 75-120 GENRE: Alternative Metal / Post Industrial === (A stark acoustic intro drops into a clinical, aggressive mid-tempo industrial groove, warning against the spiritual blindness of bowing to hollow, man-made idols of gold.) === Scriptural Foundation: THE SECOND COMMANDMENT Exodus 20:4-5: “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them” [Intro] We shape the idol from the gold... We trade our mercy for the gold... The carven image leaves us blind... The hollow metal makes us blind... [Verse] No lungs to draw the living breath... A static monument of death... We bow to nothing in the dark... To silent statues in the dark... [Chorus] You build the altar from the gold... You sell your spirit for the gold... The hollow idols leave you blind... The carven silence leaves you blind... [Interlude] [Outro] The idol shatters in the dark... Shatters in the dark... And falls. [End] Psalm 115:4-5 “Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not.” === (THE X COMMANDMENTS - AN ALTERNATIVE MUSIC CRUSADE, The Carven Silence, by Praxis & Blackdraft) === Full Album Link: https://suno.com/playlist/faeaab9d-6906-4057-817a-53b9061fa525 An Alternative Metal Music Crusade uniting absolute sovereign divine law, sacred human moments, and post-industrial soundscapes across 12 biblical tracks. - 44:05 Minutes
