Hello everyone. Leaving the charm of Georgetown behind, we headed west toward the dramatic landscapes of Venezuela. Crossing the border, the scenery changes as the massive Andes begin to loom in the distance. Caracas is a place of incredible contrast, nestled in a valley beneath the majestic Avila mountain. This track, 'Caracas Steel', is about the raw energy of the people. I had the chance to meet two steel workers during their break at a mine, sharing a meal on a simple rock. They opened their homes to me, showing me the real spirit of their neighborhoods. Sharing my music in their living rooms was a powerful reminder that hospitality knows no borders. Let the heavy acoustic strumming and the steady beat bring the heat of the valley to your ears. ******************************************* © 2026 ᒍᑌᒪIᗩᑎ KᗩIᑎE. The noisy plaza is very bright and loud. I see the red roofs from the very top. My tired feet do not want to stop. (Chorus) Singing loud for a new day. Music leads the only right way. Refrain sounds under the sun's glow. Feel the rhythm start to flow. (Verse 2) The birth house of Bolivar is made of stone. I feel the history deep inside my bone. The yellow walls are under the blue sky. I watch the golden eagles as they fly. The park is filled with many blooming trees. I feel the movement of a gentle breeze. (Chorus) Singing loud for a new day. Music leads the only right way. Refrain sounds under the sun's glow. Feel the rhythm start to flow. (Verse 3) The university has art on every single wall. I hear the echoes in the modern hall. The concrete curves are strange and very bold. A story of the future is being told. I find a fountain near the open square. The scent of coffee is in the air. (Chorus) Singing loud for a new day. Music leads the only right way. Refrain sounds under the sun's glow. Feel the rhythm start to flow. (Verse 4) Two steel workers eat on a grey rock. We spend an hour in a long talk. They show me where the heavy iron grows. The river of the metal always flows fast. I sing my songs within their humble home. No more across the world I must roam. (Chorus) Singing loud for a new day. Music leads the only right way. Refrain sounds under the sun's glow. Feel the rhythm start to flow.
