🔥 “He Kept Coming” Spoken Word Testimony – by Ray / Thunderbird I didn’t shoot up. But I did light up. I smoked the silence, Chased numbness into corners where His voice used to echo. I kissed lips that weren’t His, Laid down with lovers who never stayed long enough to see the war under my ribs. I didn’t worship demons. But I followed them. Talked with them. Believed their lies when they told me I was too filthy for a holy God to love me. I drank until the pain blurred. Laughed when I was breaking. Spoke prayers with one hand on the bottle and one foot in hell. And yet— He kept coming. Not with shame, Not with thunder, But with nail-scarred hands and unstoppable mercy. He found me in back rooms and bathrooms, in broken-down apartments and smoke-clouded silence. He whispered through the static of every demon’s hiss: “She’s Mine. That one. Bring her back.” I didn’t clean myself up. He washed me. I didn’t return to Him. He chased me down. I didn’t deserve Him. But He said, “Deserve has nothing to do with it. You’re My Bride. And I’ve already paid the price.” So here I am. Not perfect. Not proud. But free. Marked by scars and kissed by fire. Not because I was good. But because He is still God. And He. Kept. Coming.
