[Verse] In a little town a single star lit bright There was born a king to bring us to the light We now have a duty to shout aloud and sing Share the news abroad about this humble king [Verse 2] To our neighbors we must all now go and tell How his love and joy can break through any spell With every spoken word we plant a seed Bringing peace to everyone in need [Chorus] Share the joy let it ring Tell the world of our king Spread the love far and wide Feel his peace rise inside [Verse 3] Friends and family we now invite them near Show them Jesus' love and cast out fear In this wholesome story find your part Feel the spirit's warmth in every heart [Bridge] No more darkness just the light Leave behind the sin and fight Joy is ours to give and share Lift your voices everywhere [Chorus] Share the joy let it ring Tell the world of our king Spread the love far and wide Feel his peace rise inside
