She was alive in the 20th century as a musician in the Celtic countries, quite popular too towards the end of her life. (Living only to age of 17) After a show, a stalker followed her as she went to get a snack from a local bakery, attacking her before she could get there. She always carried a pocket knife in case of a situation like this, so she defended herself. Both died from brutal injuries that night. She arrived at heaven, having led a good life and working hard to bond with her fans and uplift them, but heaven had other plans. Even though the murder of her stalker was in self-defense, justified, and accidental, heaven still refused her entry. So, they threw her into hell instead. She took on the form of a siren demon, the wings coming from the Greek mythology version of a siren. Gold found her way to the Hotel and stayed there for a while, free lodging and food after all. One afternoon, Lucifer and his new wife, Tylmae, came to the hotel to visit and check on Charlie. Gold took an instant liking to the royal pair, especially the musical talent radiating off of them. She didn't really talk much, scared of accidentally triggering her newfound powers and hurting someone. So, instead, she followed them around the hotel like a stray cat, just kinda hanging around. Gold especially liked Tylmae, who retained a more human-like form like she did. Charlie noted that she hadnt made much progress in getting Gold to open up and that she spent most of her time in the hotel's new pool. (She actually tracks water all over the hotel 🤣 Niffty doesnt care, though, more mess for her to clean) Lucifer and Tylmae felt that the odd little siren demon had potential and took a liking to her as well. When she was waiting to get to heaven, Gold wandered off and ended up finding Lilith, who mentored her and helped with her powers. But she was thrown out of heaven not much later, so she never saw Lilith again. Tylmae, however, took it upon herself to finish what Lilith had started, regardless of her hate for the previous demon queen. Gold moved into the palace, more accurately, the bioluminescent water caves beneath. During this time, Gold bonded with the royals and they become not unlike parental figures for her. Lucifer gave her the title of overlord a few months later, and Gold is deathly loyal and became basically a bodyguard for them. ✨️other silly headcanons✨️ Vaggie helped make Gold's favorite spear She loves shiny things, like seriously...
