I Believe
I Believe Long gone is the age, when Biblical tales and symbolic page were taken for science, mistaken for fact, yet truth has endured, and reason intact. Modern believers in Christianity uphold both research and scientific clarity. Gone is the notion we once held so near, that the Sun moved around us, year after year. Still, on this Earth, some voices remain, saying the planet is flat and plain, that the world was made in seven days, that Man is the center of cosmic ways, that nature exists only to serve, the biosphere theirs, with no reserve. The same ones proclaim, without any shame, that woman is lesser, a role to blame, that those without skin of a lighter shade are not their equals, by lie portrayed. They imagine that races in humankind rank high and low by a flawed design, yet the truth of genetics speaks otherwise: all humans are equal in nature’s eyes. There are also those who disdain the soul, mocking the spiritual, calling it a flaw, a hole. But I believe, with Eckhart Tolle’s voice, that we are here by a greater choice: to let the Universe’s divine mission unfold, a sacred story forever retold. So vital we are, each one, each part, to Humanity’s body, Humanity’s heart. No matter who you are, or where you stand, you are essential to this land. I believe in the power of Now, in the present that teaches us how. For every second, deep and free, contains the whole eternity. I believe that daily contact with nature’s face is vital for a nervous system’s grace— for body and mind to remain aligned, and that walking is the key to time, a path to health, longevity’s climb.
