[Intro] Benny was a baffler by birth, a blundering bloke With a bobbing bowler hat and boots too big for balance. He rarely made sense, but made quite a scene, Especially when he waddled through town with a Box. Not just a box. THE Box. [Verse 1] Bumbling Benny with a box bound tight, Brass-bound bulk and a buckle too bright. Boots too big with a bounce in each beat, Benny barrelled down that Brickleberry Street. Bakers, barbers, bankers, and brats, Brows all bent under bowler hats. (“By blazes, Benny, what’s beneath the lid?”) He bobbed, he blinked, but never said what he hid. [Verse 2] Beatrice begged with a biscuit in hand, (“Be honest, Benny, we don’t understand!”) The butcher bellowed, (“It’s baboon bones, mate!”) The bard said, (“No! It’s a bottled-up fate!”) Booksellers babbled of boxed bibliomancy, Bloggers live-streamed their boldest fancy. (“Bomb?”) said Briggs with a badge and a blot, Benny just burped and bounced on the spot. [Verse 3] Bellhop Billy with binoculars bolted, Bridget the beekeeper breathlessly jolted. Behind Benny, the boulevard buzzed, Babies babbled, and Brenda cussed. Brenda the birdwatcher bumped into Sue, Spilled bubble tea on her brand-new shoe. (“Back it up, Benny! Break the suspense!”) But Benny just beatboxed and hopped a fence. [Verse 4] Brassy clicks as the box drew near To the bell tower base, they all burst with cheer. Bodies bustled, breath held tight, Binoculars blinked in the breeze of night. Benny bowed with a baffled grin, Balanced the box with a bop and a spin. He bent down slowly, boots on bricks, Unbuckled the brass with a couple quick flicks. [Verse 5] He busted the latches, bent back the lid, The town held breath, nobody slid. Beads of sweat broke down Briggs’ brow, Brenda bit nails like (“It’s happening now!”) Inside the box, what brilliance, what flair! A banana wearing sunglasses in a tiny lawn chair. Sippin’ a drink through a baby-sized straw, So baffling n' bizarre, it dropped every jaw. One bloke belched. One burst out in tears. Then Brickleberry shook with bellyful cheers. Benny just beamed and gave it a tap: (“Box like this? Man, that’s peak brain-snap.”) [Outro] Box-bound bananas breed baffled bystanders, Bringing brain-bends, belly-laughs, and bizarre backhanders. And so the box was baffling, the banana bold, And Benny? Still bobbing, now barefoot in the cold.
