Overwhelming tenderness (Всепоглощающая нежность)
Ray of light ran down across my face, A gentle touch, a warm and soft embrace— And so, I woke, helpless to its command. With eyes now open, deep within my soul, I drank your image in, to make me whole; I longed to cry, but silent I remained. Such happiness I’d never known before, Love filled my spirit, flowing to the core. Like nightingales that sing of paradise, Your touch set all my rushing blood on fire— Lost in a sudden surge of deep desire, As reason fled and vanished from our eyes. We met the morning light without a shame, Though bodies kindled by the morning flame Began to blush and glow with brighter heat. From mutual grace, our passion only grew, The world became a point of bliss we knew— Your breath, the tide where skin and spirit meet. A "tender morning" is the poet's name for this, And may our lives be always filled with bliss. Let mornings such as these for years endure, Though some may never grasp a joy so deep. It opens only to the souls who keep A love that gives itself, and lives secure.
