But just thinking up the title made me laugh, so wrote my own lyrics while keeping the spirit/thread of E/V’s song and including little mentions (“legendary,” “when I stumble/trip,” etc.) as a tribute to the original. In “Fireproof” / "Płomień,” the demon is more figurative - this Halloween version of the song has more of a slinky sound and sounds like a mortal/angel and a demon in love. Or two demons in love, for that matter. Or two fallen angels trying to find one another again. Either way, the way she (02:06) rolls her “R” on “horror” and the appreciative (02:14) “Pfft - you” is comedy gold. Was playing around with ad-libs. Do write dramatic and passionate songs, but the delivery of this one came out - so - theatrical that it made me laugh, so here we are.
