[Intro] [Dark piano chords echoing. A pitched-down, soulful vocal humming. Spoken word] Yeah. They told us to blend in. They told us to walk like the world. But the Lord said, "Come out from among them." Big Spades. Erica. We ain't built for the crowd. We built for the Kingdom. Let’s get to work! [Verse 1] [Beat drops hard with punchy snares and heavy 808s] Look, I used to walk around blind, chasing the temporary Living in a graveyard, everything was cemetery But the Maker pulled me up, washed me in the living water Now me and Erica stepping, the son and the daughter We refuse to conform, we refuse to just comply With a world that’s steady feeding us a comfortable lie Got the Word in my spirit, got the truth on my tongue This a different type of song that the No ones ever sung We ain't bowing to the culture, we ain't bending the knee It's the King of all Kings who came and set the captives free! [Pre-Chorus] [Beat strips back to just the piano and a clapping rhythm] When they look at our lives, let 'em see the transformation! We a part of the holy, the righteous generation! We don't look like the world, we don't move like the rest! Put the armor on daily, we passing the test! [Chorus] [Explosive drop, all instruments in, aggressive and passionate vocal] We are SET APART! Yeah, we walking in the light! We are SET APART! Stepping out into the fight! Me and Erica standing, we anchored to the throne! In the middle of the fire, we ain't never alone! Let the Pharisees talk, let the hypocrites stare! We are covered by the blood, we are stepping on a prayer! We are SET APART! [Verse 2] [Multisyllabic flow, rhythmic syncopation kicking in] Listen, spiritual warfare, it's heavy in the atmosphere But perfect love casts out every single ounce of fear Down in Calhoun, planting seeds up in the concrete Marching to a different rhythm, stepping on a strong beat Erica beside me, we a powerhouse of faith Ain't no demon in hell that can step into this space We breaking generational curses, shattering the chains Enduring through the struggles and fighting through the pains They want us distracted, they want us divided But we serving the Lord, yeah, the choice is decided! [Pre-Chorus] [Building energy, rapid hi-hat rolls start] When they look at our lives, let 'em see the transformation! We a part of the holy, the righteous generation! We don't look like the world, we don't move like the rest! Put the armor on daily, we passing the test! [Chorus] [Maximum energy, vocal doubling] We are SET APART! [Verse 3] [Flow slows down, deliberate and heavy emphasis on every word] I look at my queen, and I see a holy warrior The devil tried to break us, but the Lord is the restorer We don't need validation from a world that's going under We just speaking out the gospel with a voice that sounds like thunder Every dollar, every breath, every moment we are given Is a testament to grace and the way that we are living We the outcasts, the rebels for the cause of the cross The ones frowned upon by society, but we serve the big Boss Tattoos on our face, & saved by That real grace, old ways we'll toss When you gain eternal life, you ain't taking a loss. [Verse 4] [Double-time flow, aggressive and triumphant] So let the trumpets blow, let the enemy flee I got the Lion of Judah residing inside of me! I'm a new creation, old things have passed away We marching on the frontline, ready for the battle day! Big Spades, on the mic, spitting fire from the soul The Almighty is the pilot, yeah, He's totally in control! [Bridge] [Music cuts out. Just raw, echoing vocals and a stomping rhythm] We ain't conforming! (Nah!) We transforming! (Yeah!) The spirit is moving, the heavens are storming! We ain't conforming! (Nah!) We transforming! (Yeah!) Me and Erica shining, it's a brand new morning! [Chorus] [Final drop, biggest energy of the song] We are SET APART! [Outro] [Piano melody plays out slowly. Heavy breathing on the mic] Yeah. Set apart. From the bottom to the top, it's all God. Big Spades. Erica. We holding the line. Kingdom Music vibes. We out. [Beat stops abruptly on a snare hit] [End]
