[Verse 1] I saw a new sky split open wide No more tears on the other side The old fight gone, the old night done And death laid down by the setting sun [Pre-Chorus] Hear that sound? Old things fall Hear that sound? God makes all [Chorus] New Jerusalem Coming down New Jerusalem Wear the crown No more crying now No more dying now New Jerusalem Coming down [Verse 2] A river clear, a road of gold Every broken gate remade and bold No cursed words on a ruined tongue Every name made clean, every song unsung [Pre-Chorus] Hear that sound? Mourning ends Hear that sound? He makes friends [Chorus] New Jerusalem Coming down New Jerusalem Wear the crown No more crying now No more dying now New Jerusalem Coming down [Bridge] And I heard, “It is done” The last war lost The last debt gone The Lamb still stands The night rolled back The fear released We walk in light We walk in peace [Chorus] New Jerusalem Coming down New Jerusalem Wear the crown No more crying now No more dying now New Jerusalem Coming down [Outro] Come down Come down New Jerusalem Come down
