[Verse 1] Out in the dust He counted us By name, by tribe, by promise Not one soul lost in the moving line Not one step outside His purpose We pitched our tents by a holy fire We rose when the cloud was rising A numbered people, a chosen crowd Still learning how to follow [Pre-Chorus] When the way got hard And the road grew long He still went first He still stayed strong [Chorus] Count me in, Lord Count me in In the wilderness You are still the King Count me in, Lord Count me in When we move by faith You carry everything (everything) [Verse 2] Manna on the morning ground Water from a rock that split open Brazen serpent lifted high For the ones who had been broken We saw rebellion in the camp We heard fear talk louder than courage But mercy met us in the dust And grace kept making a new way [Pre-Chorus] When the giants loomed And the hearts grew small You spoke through the dark And You answered all [Chorus] Count me in, Lord Count me in In the wilderness You are still the King Count me in, Lord Count me in When we move by faith You carry everything (everything) [Bridge] Forty years can change a man Can strip the pride, can burn the fear But Your voice still splits the night And says, “I am here” So lead us on Through dust and flame Write Your promise On our names [Breakdown] We are not forgotten We are not alone You made a people You made us Your own [Final Chorus] Count me in, Lord Count me in In the wilderness You are still the King Count me in, Lord Count me in When we move by faith You carry everything (everything) Count me in, Lord Count me in From the tent to the Jordan We will worship You again (again)
