Style)
The english translation is below. ------------------------------------------- Evening spreads mist o'er the cold water's face, We follow the path toward a star's distant grace. The wind whispers softly, then fades in the distance, We hear the deep voice of this ancient land's essence. Here, birches stand captive in robes of pure white, Guarding the silence and forest's respite. Every stone is familiar, each bush like a friend; We’ve returned to ourselves, our journey’s end. In the fields and the meadows, our night waits for us, Familiar lands call, and the moon shines like a daughter’s trust. Spread wide your arms, gaze up at the skies, The air here is different, the dew like tears in one's eyes; The river gives life, while the forests stand tall like a wall, The earth smells so rich, dark and deep—hear its call. You’ll realize you love this wondrous land of ours, And perhaps tell your children: "This is paradise..." The sun rises again o'er the curve of the hills, Breaking the chains of heavy, deep-slumbering stills. A golden dawn flows like a river of light, Bringing peace to the cities after the night. Let years pass us by, let the centuries flow, This freedom is strong, and the path easy to go. We cherish this world, we hold fast to this light— There is surely no better place under the sun's sight. You’ll realize you love this wondrous land of ours, And perhaps tell your children: "This is paradise..."
