[Verse 1] I know you beg the same petition, Year by year with tear-filled eyes. Wondering why the chains stay with you, Wondering if you’ll change in time. Every desperate prayer feels heavy. Every failure wounds within. God prepares the heart for healing Long before the change begins. [Chorus] Every prayer you pray in anguish Is heard before His throne. While it feels Heaven is silent, God is making you His own. Though the answers seem so distant, He is leading faithfully. Hold on tightly to your Savior. His grace is writing victory. [Verse 2] When you see your own shortcomings, Don’t mistake them for defeat. The closer that you walk with Jesus, The more you’ll see your deepest need. Every glimpse of your own weakness Means He’s drawing ever near. He’s revealing where you need Him. His strength can overcome your fear. [Chorus] Every prayer you pray in anguish Is heard before His throne. While it feels Heaven is silent, God is making you His own. Though the answers seem so distant, He is leading faithfully. Hold on tightly to your Savior. His grace is writing victory. [Bridge] Just because you cannot see it Doesn’t mean He’s standing still. Hidden roots are growing deeper Long before the harvest fills. [Final Chorus] Every prayer you pray in anguish Is heard before His throne. While it feels Heaven is silent, God is making you His own. Though the answers seem so distant, He is leading faithfully. Hold on tightly to your Savior. His grace is writing victory.
