LET THEM SEE YOUR LOVE Another warning on the screen. Another voice says, “Be afraid.” I see a world in need of peace. I hear a neighbor call my name. I can watch the sky for signs. I can count the troubled days. But someone’s hurting here beside me. Father, show me love’s way. The old age reached its end. Your promise stood the test. So what will I give the world With the life You’ve given me? Let them see Your love in me. Let them feel Your kindness. Let my words bring peace. Let my hands bring comfort. When the world is full of fear, Help me draw somebody near. Let them see Your love in me. Let them see Your love in me. I can listen when they’re grieving. I can stay when hope feels thin. I can answer hurt with patience. I can choose to forgive again. There is joy that fear can’t give us. There is peace that love can share. Christ has shown the way to You, Father. Help me meet my neighbor there. So I will love the one before me. I will be a faithful friend. I will share the life You give me, Again and again. Let them see Your love in me. Let them feel Your kindness. Let my words bring peace. Let my hands bring comfort. When the world is full of fear, Help me draw somebody near. Let them see Your love in me. Let them see Your love in me. Less fear upon my lips. More mercy in my hands. Father, let them see Your love In the way I live.
