[Verse 1] Slaves to the past The answers we seek are beyond the stars A spearhead forged by the gods Cast out from the womb Thrust into the void [Verse 2] A giant metal beast R.R.F. Baldur "Protector of Mankind" Power unmatched by any foe Forged by the gods To save our souls [Prechorus] Cold crew stare through armored glass Ashes of monsters on their hands Every heartbeat Target locked Every prayer A firing box [Chorus] Spearhead of the gods Driving through the starless flood Crown of smoke and flame Bearing all our fragile blood Spearhead of the gods Iron halo Endless run If you fall Then we fall Burning with our own [Verse 3]: Sever! The thick hulls of iron Splinter! The solid decks of steel Ravage! The powerful engines of war Kill! The foes of humanity [Verse 4]: Enemy leviathans rise Blackened hulls Reflected eyes Baldur turns her ruptured prow “Range is righteous Take them now” (take them now!) [Chorus] Spearhead of the gods Driving through the starless flood Crown of smoke and flame Bearing all our fragile blood Spearhead of the gods Iron halo Endless run If you fall Then we fall Burning with our only sun [Bridge] [Drums drop to marching pattern] [Distant choral roar emerges] Children sleep in rust-red domes Dreaming ships to lead them home You alone between their breath And the open throat of death (of death) Armor screams But holds the line Crew and vessel intertwined “If we die We buy them time” Static answers like a shrine Tyranny shall fall The blood of our kin shall not be spilled in vain "...I am the vengeful son!" [Chorus] Spearhead of the gods Driving through the starless flood Crown of smoke and flame Bearing all our fragile blood Spearhead of the gods Iron halo Endless run If you fall Then we fall Burning with our only sun
