Now listen to the Word. [Spoken Intro — Deep, Reverent] When Christ, who is our life, shall appear… We also shall appear with Him in glory. What we are now… Is not what we shall always be. The King is coming. And His people will be changed! [Verse 1] These earthly bodies bend and break, We feel the burden that we take. Our hearts reach out for something more, A life beyond this mortal shore. We bear the weakness, bear the scars, We dream beneath these distant stars. But Christ has promised something new— A glory waiting, strong and true! [Pre-Chorus] What He is, we shall become! The victory is already won! Our mortal weakness will give way— When Christ appears in glory's day! [Chorus — Massive Choir] FASHIONED LIKE THE KING! GLORIFIED FOREVER! Raised in power that death can never sever! FASHIONED LIKE THE KING! OUR HOPE IS RISING! The glory of our Savior's shining! No more shame! No more night! We shall stand within His light! WHEN CHRIST APPEARS, WE'LL APPEAR! With our risen Lord forever near! [Verse 2] The body sown in earthly dust Will rise renewed through Jesus' trust. The weak made strong, the mortal raised, Our Savior's glory fills our days! No more dishonor, no more pain, No curse of death will bind again. The One who conquered death and hell Will make His people whole and well! [Pre-Chorus] What He is, we shall become! The victory is already won! Our mortal weakness will give way— When Christ appears in glory's day! [Chorus — Full Power] FASHIONED LIKE THE KING! [Verse 3 — Emotional, Melodic] Whatever joy our Lord possesses, Whatever love His presence blesses, Whatever honor crowns His name, His people share His endless reign. The cross that bore our Savior's shame Will never dim His glorious name. And all who trust His saving grace Will stand before Him, face to face! [Bridge — Slowly Building] Look up, you weary, wounded soul! The Lord is coming to make you whole! Look up beyond the grief and pain! The risen Christ will come again! The chrysalis will break apart! New wings will rise from every heart! What God has promised, He will do— The glory of His Son made new! [Breakdown — Heavy Guitars, Deep Lead] But hear the warning! Do not turn away! Your life is passing. Today is the day! There is life in the crucified One! There is mercy through God's risen Son! [Gospel Invitation — Lead Vocal and Choir] Look to the Savior! Look to the cross! He gave His life to rescue the lost! Turn to the Savior! Call on His name! Jesus still welcomes the broken and shamed! [Build — Choir Rising] Christ is our life! Christ is our hope! Christ is the strength by which we cope! Christ is our future! Christ is our King! And we shall rise when He appears! [Final Chorus — Maximum Power] FASHIONED LIKE THE KING! GLORIFIED FOREVER! Raised in power that death can never sever! FASHIONED LIKE THE KING! OUR HOPE IS RISING! The glory of our Savior's shining! No more shame! No more night! We shall stand within His light! And when He appears… We shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. [Spoken Series Outro — Clear Male Voice, No Music] Inspired by a Sermon Gem from Charles Haddon Spurgeon.
