[Verse 1] We’re lying here, side by side Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide Underneath the blazing sky Watching the clouds just rolling by [Chorus] We’re melting in the golden heat Can you feel our hearts skip a beat? Your skin is gleaming in the sun Two separate souls becoming one Oh, our bodies touch, the fever grows A burning love that overflows We’re burning hot, yeah, we’re on fire [Verse 2] The sweat is dripping, the air is sweet The desert sand beneath our feet But nothing’s hotter than your touch I never knew I could want this much [Chorus] We’re melting in the golden heat Can you feel our hearts skip a beat? Your skin is gleaming in the sun Two separate souls becoming one Oh, our bodies touch, the fever grows A burning love that overflows We’re burning hot, yeah, we’re on fire [Bridge] Let the world fade away In this light we’re gonna stay This passion is a blazing light Burning through the day and night [Chorus] We’re melting in the golden heat Can you feel our hearts skip a beat? Your skin is gleaming in the sun Two separate souls becoming one Oh, our bodies touch, the fever grows A burning love that overflows We’re burning hot, yeah, we’re on fire [Outro] Yeah, we’re on fire... In the hot, hot sun... Our love burns on.
