Verse 1 We used to be dragons blowing bubbles so round But now we are boys and we’re walking on the ground The curse is finally broken, the Baron is gone But a brand new adventure is coming on! Look at the map, there are islands to climb We gotta move fast, we’re racing against time Shoot a magic arc across the pixelated sky And watch the little caterpillar bad guys fly! Create a bridge! (Rainbow!) Break the bridge! (Rainbow!) Collect the fruit and the piece of cake Whatever you do, don't fall in the lake! Chorus Rainbow Islands! High above the sea Seven worlds of magic waiting for him Rainbow Islands! Climbing to the top Don't let the vertical scrolling stop! Turn the enemies into a diamond star We’re gonna travel really high and really far From the Insect Island to the Monster Land With a pocket full of rainbows in my hand! Verse 2 The water is rising, it’s coming from below (The warning text flashes: "HURRY UP!") You gotta keep moving, you can't be slow! Jump on the arc, bounce up to the ledge Living life on the rainbow edge There’s a giant spider spinning a web And a helicopter boss who wants us dead Shoot a triple rainbow, bring ‘em all down And grab the big chest with the golden crown! Red... Orange... Yellow... Green... Find the diamonds that can’t be seen. If you want the ending that is true and right... You gotta find the gems before the night! Rainbow Islands! High above the sea Seven worlds of magic waiting for him Rainbow Islands! Climbing to the top Don't let the vertical scrolling stop! Turn the enemies into a diamond star We’re gonna travel really high and really far From the Insect Island to the Monster Land
