[Intro: Acoustic guitar and piano, two bars] [Verse 1: Girl lead, warm storytelling] A little girl went walking Through the orchard late one day Found a shiny red apple Resting softly in the hay She brought it to her paw paw With a smile so bright and sweet He said, “Come sit beside me, Hear the story of this tree.” [Pre-Chorus: Boy and girl duet] “My paw paw sowed a little seed God sent the sun and rain Now every apple on these limbs Is love to give away.” [Chorus: Full children’s group, joyful harmony] Share God’s love, share God’s love Let it shine from heart to heart Give a little, love a little That’s where blessings start Like an apple tree, reach up high Let His goodness overflow The more we give His love away The more His love will grow [Verse 2: Boy lead, gentle and clear] “Jesus told about a farmer Scattering his seeds around Some fell where the birds could find them Some fell on the rocky ground Some were tangled in the thorn vines But the good soil let them grow When our hearts receive His message There’s a harvest we can sow.” [Chorus: Full children’s group, fuller drums] Share God’s love, share God’s love Let it shine from heart to heart Give a little, love a little That’s where blessings start Like an apple tree, reach up high Let His goodness overflow The more we give His love away The more His love will grow [Bridge: Girl lead, then boy answers, gentle build] “So I could share my apple With a friend who needs a bite?” “And you could help a lonely heart Feel a little of His light.” She placed it in his weathered hand Said, “Paw Paw, now I see The gifts that God has given us Aren’t just for you and me.” [Final Chorus: All voices, bright two-part harmony] Share God’s love, share God’s love Let it shine from heart to heart Give a little, love a little That’s where blessings start Like an apple tree, reach up high Let His goodness overflow The more we give His love away The more His love will grow [Outro: Duet, soft ensemble harmony] One small seed, one loving heart More than we could know Share God’s love wherever you are And watch His goodness grow [End: Acoustic guitar and piano resolve]
