I wanna sing, because it's Christmas Time

[intro] [Verse 1] They walked all night, just her and him, A donkey on the road to Bethlehem. The town was full, no place to stay, But still they hoped, they found a way. A stable small, the stars above, A tiny cry, a sign of love. [Chorus] I wanna sing, because it's Christmas Time, As a child was born this day. In a little stable in Bethlehem, The shepherds came their way. A bright star marked the spot, A child was born — the Son of God. [Verse 2] The angels sang, the night was bright, “Peace on earth” beneath the light. The shepherds ran, their hearts amazed, They found the child and knelt in praise. The world was new, the dark was gone, Hope was born for everyone. [Chorus] I wanna sing, because it's Christmas Time, As a child was born this day. In a little stable in Bethlehem, The shepherds came their way. A bright star marked the spot, A child was born — the Son of God. [Bridge] Now every year we light the flame, And celebrate His holy name. Love still shines through every song, The gift of peace that carries on. [Final Chorus repeat] I wanna sing, because it's Christmas Time, As a child was born this day. In a little stable in Bethlehem, The shepherds came their way. A bright star marked the spot, A child was born — the Son of God.
