Wake up, wake up, wake up, Hurry up, the dogs are waiting. Feed them, clean the pads, Coffee dripping, life creating. Eight cups water, four scoops ground, Kettle humming its morning sound. Drip… drip… what are you waiting for? Bread and cheese on the cutting board. Eggs on the skillet, olives and white cheese, Tomatoes, sausage, bacon — a breakfast symphony. Ah, delicious, hurry hurry, Trash and floors, a daily flurry. Laundry down, machine spinning, One hour writing, songs beginning. Are they good? Do they matter? Dryer humming under the sun — Why go outside when screens are fun? Take my son, walk awhile, Library books, a quiet smile. Cook a meal with love inside, Lunch is ready, family time.
