[Verse 1] You chose me in the dawn Before my name had breath You spoke the covenant word And sealed it with Your death Like a cup held high in love You said, "This is for you" My weary heart said yes And I became Your bride [Pre-Chorus] Wash me in Your promise Set my trembling soul apart Make me ready for the day When You come to claim my heart [Chorus] Come, my Bridegroom King Come and take Your bride You paid the price in blood Now lead me to the light Come, my Bridegroom King The wedding feast is near I am Yours forever And I will not fear [Verse 2] You wrote the words of life Like silver on a scroll A covenant of mercy To hold and guard my soul Then by Your living water You made the unclean clean You called me from the shadows To stand in garments white [Pre-Chorus] Wash me in Your promise Set my trembling soul apart Make me ready for the day When You come to claim my heart [Chorus] Come, my Bridegroom King Come and take Your bride You paid the price in blood Now lead me to the light Come, my Bridegroom King The wedding feast is near I am Yours forever And I will not fear [Bridge] And when the trumpet sounds We'll hear the Father say The house is almost ready The long wait fades away You'll lift the veil from glory We'll meet You face to face At last the joined together Will never be undone [Chorus] Come, my Bridegroom King Come and take Your bride You paid the price in blood Now lead me to the light Come, my Bridegroom King The wedding feast is near I am Yours forever And I will not fear [Outro] Till that holy hour I keep my lamp aflame Waiting for my Savior Calling on Your name Come, my Bridegroom King Come and take Your bride
