“Children of War” – time to grow up until it all ends!
[Verse 1] Two small kids in a sandbox, throwing stones of pride, But the sandbox grew global — now millions have died. They wear suits, hold mics, call it “justice” and “truth,” But their playground is burning, and we’re paying the dues. They paint flags with blood, say it’s holy, say it’s right, While the crowd claps along — blinded by the light. Each speech is a weapon, each lie is a chain, And the fools cheer louder while they drown in the rain. [Chorus] When will this stupidity end? When will we rise, not just pretend? Two children play war — we call them men, But the world keeps spinning in the same old trend. [Verse 2] Beliefs are just masks on the faces of fear, Echo chambers roar, no one wants to hear. You can quote your gods, you can wave your creed, But no one ever questions — who planted that seed? Faith turns to profit, logic turns to dust, Every headline’s poison, every handshake rust. We scroll, we share, we pray, we curse, But we’re still the same species rehearsing the worst. [Chorus] When will this stupidity end? When will we rise, not just pretend? Two children play war — we call them men, But the world keeps spinning in the same old trend. [Bridge] “Mom, why do they fight?” — “Because they always have, son.” “Will they ever stop?” — “Maybe when the Earth’s gone.” So we build our empires out of ego and dust, While the real power’s sleeping in the word trust. [Verse 3] They say “peace” with their mouths, load guns with their hands, Trade souls like stocks, redraw the lands. All in the name of “freedom,” “honor,” “truth,” But deep down inside, it’s just scared little youth. So I ask: if wisdom is age, why are elders so blind? If truth is divine, why’s it bought and signed? Maybe we ain’t grown — we just got toys that kill, Two kids in a sandbox, playing war for the thrill. [Outro] When will this stupidity end? When will we learn, not just defend? Two children play war, and the world descends — It’s time to grow up before it all ends.
