Dylan’s Behavioral Action Plan
[Intro] [Fast merengue horns, crowd whistles] Ladies and gentlemen… Dylan has submitted… ANOTHER OFFICIAL DOCUMENT. This one says: “The way I will fix my behavior…” Oh this gonna be good. [Verse 1] [Accordion bouncing, congas rolling] “The way I fix my behavior…” Boy started sounding like a TED Talk speaker. “When I get mad, I play basketball.” Meanwhile two days ago punched the wall. Says he gon’ “walk away and go to my room…” That sounds nice in theory… But we all know the truth. Five minutes later: Door slam! Hoodie on! Eating all the cereal while emotionally gone. [Pre-Chorus] [Female vocals] Ay Dylan… You got a whole recovery plan… But somehow every little thing Still turns into a dramatic stand… [Chorus] [Huge merengue explosion] Dylan got a behavioral remix! Writing life advice like a therapist kid! “Take a shower!” “Cool right down!” Till somebody says: “Clean up now!” Basketball, baseball, Going outside too… But the second WiFi lagging, Everybody doomed! He said: “If I am wrong I say I’m sorry…” Family looking shocked like: “WAIT… RARE STORY!” [Verse 2] [Live brass and güira] This boy wrote: “I can talk it out.” But usually starts with: “BRO CHILL OUT!” Talking tough with emotional pain, Like a reggaeton singer dancing in the rain. One second calm… Next second loud… Whole neighborhood hearing: “WHY EVERYBODY ON ME NOW?!” And I love the confidence in this line: “If I’m wrong, I move on.” Meanwhile ten minutes later Still arguing from dawn to dawn. [Bridge] [Soft female vocals, nostalgic piano] He’s growing… Little by little… Even when the house gets loud… And emotions wiggle… But the second somebody touches his snacks… The entire behavioral system collapses back… [Breakdown] [Percussion-only section] “GO TAKE A SHOWER!” “GO PLAY BALL!” “GO TO YOUR ROOM!” “STOP YELLING DOWN THE HALL!” [Final Chorus] [Fastest merengue section] Dylan got a self-help page! Written like a tiny life coach sage! “Walk away… calm your mind…” Till Dariel talks trash one time! Now basketball flying through the air, Nomar hiding like: “I WASN’T THERE!” Carmen yelling, Daniel stressed… And Dylan writing essays like he’s overly blessed! [Outro – Spoken Female (Carmen)] Kids… if you hear circus music playing, that means the Ringmaster is busy… making another song about you. Stay in your rooms.
