Oath of the Sword and Flame Eternal (Edited)
On my immortal honor, this oath I avow, To the forces of darkness and evil, I shall never bow. I am your shield in the night. I am ready to defend, ready to fight. I carry the sword, I bear the shield. I embody magic's power, I command the field. Should I fall, then by Creation's Grace, Another shall stand and take my place. I command the Fire and the Tide, The Ground beneath, the Air beside, To rise and answer to my will, Against the dark that would us kill. In life or in death, I will hold the line, Through me or by another, victory will be mine. Beneath the Sacred Flame and Light, I swear to serve and hold to right. Under the banner soaked in sacred flame, From low to high-born, we are now the same. Under the strength of the Holy Light, We shall stand, and we shall fight. We are the wielders of the sword, Against evil we make no accord. We bear the Flame Eternal. We stand against beasts infernal. We are the wall; we are the shield. Against no foe shall we ever yield. We will guard; we will defend. We will not break; even if it be our end. I command fire, water, ground and air. Challenge me if you dare. It answers unto me, magic tame and wild. I am Creation’s solemn child. I stand among the unbroken, immortal wall. In Light or in Dark, it shall never falter. It shall never fall.
