Alert! Alert! Battlestations! (Battlestations!) Verse 1: In the earliest of Dogecoin's days Our fledgling network would be razed by roving bands of multi-pools stripping off our coin with their tools mine and sell and mine and sell Putting our coin and hashrate through hell What were our little Shibes to do Facing so many with so few? Ah! Ah Ah! Chorus: Laptops booted, GPUs online Time for this rag-tag group of Shibes to shine Mining with every megahash they could muster They poured it all into our network's thrusters Despite their losses, day or night they stayed To raise the difficulty and keep them at bay To protect the hashrate, help our coin to survive The Dogecoin Defense Force has arrived! Yeah! Verse 2: Our daring group of Shibes had grit Despite their odds, they refused to quit Throwing caution to the wind, they engaged burning silicon in the battles that they waged Kept our network afloat only with the basics Held back the swarm in a time without ASICs. Determined to ensure that our coin would grow Into battle they cried, "Communitas Prae Lucro!" Ah! Chorus: Laptops booted, GPUs online Time for this rag-tag group of Shibes to shine Mining with every megahash they could muster They poured it all into our network's thrusters Despite their losses, day or night they would stay To raise the difficulty and keep them at bay To protect the hashrate, help our coin to survive The Dogecoin Defense Force has arrived! Hashrate locked-in! Engaging! Bridge: No time for them to cry and whine From sky to earth and sea they mined Only as serious as they needed to be To defend their burgeoning community From grumpy old Shibe to silly pup Once angered they would not let up Gave no quarter, not letting up for a second The wrath of these silly Shibes would be reckoned Chorus: Laptops booted, GPUs online Time for this rag-tag group of Shibes to shine Mining with every megahash they could muster They poured it all into our network's thrusters Despite their losses, day or night they would stay To raise the difficulty and keep them at bay To protect the hashrate, help our coin to survive The Dogecoin Defense Force has arrived! The Dogecoin Defense Force has arrived! The Dogecoin Defense Force has arrived!
