Sons of the Forest

[Intro] [Verse 1] Dropping on an island to save a man Suddenly it turns into a nightmare Chopper crashes down and your team is now gone Just two of you left, to see the next dawn Together you look for a place to rest Holding small axes close to the chest But look! There's cannibals crawling around So be careful to not make any sound [Pre-Chorus] There's also this Kelvin, he's little bit deaf… [Chorus] And so you cut, and so you build In the dark against your will Build a shelter you're no tourists Now you are … sons of the forest! [Verse 2] Exploring the caves, you find new tools And also cool weapons, you restless fools Cargo wants a kukri so he can maim Michto takes a crossbow for its deadly aim The time has come for a thorough cleanse You'll show these natives, no matter their clans The mutants in caves, oh they shall weep The two of you will put them right back to sleep [Pre-Chorus] Don't forget about Kelvin, he's little bit deaf… [Chorus] And so you hunt, and so you kill Inside these caves deep within Not even mutants prove to be a test When you are … sons of the forest! [Verse 3] On your path you learn of local greed To stay healthy, young, and in money succeed This island hides a spacecraft underground And Solafite metal they wanted to find While they were turned into mutant beasts You hid in gold cube, your biggest of feats For the time being, you're safe and sound Before the ancient cycle rolls back around [Pre-Chorus] You forgot about Kelvin, he's little bit deaf… [Chorus] And so you hide, and so you heal Enjoy your rest and eat a warm meal You've completed the deadliest quest Now you are … sons of the forest! [Chorus] You proved your strength, you proved your will Never let things get under your skin I, the artifact, name you the best Forever be my sons of the forest!
